About the Opportunity

Are you a native Hebrew speaker with a passion for language and technology? Mindy Support is looking for detail-oriented individuals to join an exciting Optical Character Recognition (OCR) project. This is a unique chance to work on high-end AI development, helping machines “read” and understand Hebrew text more accurately.

Your Role:

As a specialist in this project, you will focus on the transcription and annotation of Hebrew text from various images.

Precision Annotation: Identify and mark text areas using specialized digital tools (rectangles or polygons) with high accuracy.
Accurate Transcription: Transcribe Hebrew text exactly as it appears in images, preserving original spelling and punctuation.
Smart Labeling: Categorize text types (e.g., Handwritten vs. Printed, Titles, etc.) based on detailed project guidelines.

Who You Are:

Linguistic Expert: Native-level proficiency in Hebrew with excellent reading and writing skills.
Cultural Background: You have lived in Israel for at least 5 years, ensuring a strong grasp of modern Hebrew usage and cultural nuances.
Language Skills: Conversational English (B2 or higher) to effectively communicate with the team and follow technical instructions.
Detail-Oriented: You take pride in the accuracy of your work and can stay focused on complex tasks.
Tech-Ready: You have a stable internet connection and a computer with at least 6 GB RAM (Windows 10+ or macOS).
